An Ode to Home…

(…and to flavor.)

 Fog City Sundries is a business that started as a stall at the Bushwick Farmer's Market in 2014 by Ava, Fog City Sundries’ chef and owner. Ava is proud Croatian-American, San Franciscan, and decade-long Brooklynite, and all these cultural influences come together to create true culinary inspiration everyday here in our kitchen!

“Fog City” is a homage to the nickname for her beloved hometown of San Francisco. “Sundries” is to encompass a wide variety of dry goods we offer, although we tend to stick to our classic offerings- gourmet nut butter and honey blends.

The nut butters and honeys we offer are a truly unique line of products in their breadth of variety and flavors, bringing you high quality ingredients and flavor experiences.

Our Goals…

Fog City Sundries' goal is to share delicious, gourmet (and yet, still affordable!) foods with absolutely nothing added but nature's ingredients, culinary playfulness, and pure love.

We strive to create a products that use as many organic, fair trade, or local products as possible while keeping our prices just right!  

Ultimately, we hope these products, made lovingly from a small, woman-owned business, will reach cabinets across the globe to make a happier planet- and the happiest tastebuds!

Values at Our Core…

“Besides focusing on making foods for your pleasure, I have my MPH in Community Health Education and study Herbalism and holistic health. The values of health permeate everything I do, and it’s no different with Fog City. Community Health is addressed in our donation of portions of proceeds to community organizations, community-level sales and engagement, and in our sustainable sourcing. Environmental Health is addressed in our sustainable packaging and practices, and our Jar Return program. And Mind/Body Health, in putting only the best ingredients, in the right proportions, into our products.”

All our ingredients are sourced with the utmost care, from bee-friendly almonds, to local, small-supplier honey and maple syrup. They are fresh, exciting, and given love from start to finish.
